Issued for use in Malta. One year only.
Their were 288,000 coins issued.

The obverse was designed by George William de
Sauless.

The reverse was that used in Victoria "bun head "
series, however, the crown has been changed.

The obverse features the portrait of Edward VII, while
the reverse contains the words "One Third Farthing"
with a date below. There is also a crown above the
date and wreath of leaves around the wording and
date.
