GEORGE I FARTHING
1717-1724
There was only one obverse and one reverse issued.

The first farthings that were issued in 1717 are often
referred to as the "dump" issue, on account of them being
smaller and wider than the later issues of 1719-1724.

It was designed by John Croker.

The reverse was again the traditional use of a seated
Britannia with the date below.
