George I Halfpenny
1719-1724
There was three different obverse and one reverse issued.

The first halfpennies that were issued in 1717 & 1718 are
often referred to as the "dump" issue, on account of them
being smaller and wider than the later issues of 1719-1724.

It was designed by John Croker.

The reverse was again the traditional use of a seated
Britannia with the date below.

The differences in the obverses are quite small, mainly in
the shoulder straps and hair.
