GEORGE II SILVER 1 - 4 PENCE  
1729-1760
The George II silver 1, 2, 3 and 4 pennies were all issued for
use as currency coins and possibly for maundy sets.
There silver 1 & 2 penny's only had one obverse and one
reverse, where as the silver 3 pence can be found with one
obverse but with three different reverses.
The silver 4 pence has two different obverses and two different
reverse designs.


1729-1760 Silver 1 penny, 0.5 grams, 12mm Diameter.
1729-1760 Silver 2 pence, 1 grams, 14mm Diameter.
1729-1760 Silver 3 pence, 1.5 grams, 17mm Diameter.
1729-1760 Silver 4 pence, 2.0 grams, 19mm Diameter.
