George V Sixpence
1927-1936

The obverse of the sixpence is by Bertram Mackennal.

The reverse of the first type of sixpence is modified version
of the reverse of the shilling, which was in turn a modified
version of Edward VII shilling reverse by George William de
Saulles

The second type sixpence from 1920-1936 has a smaller
bust and a acorn reverse and is minted with .500 debased
silver.
