This is a very rare variety of penny where the obverse has
a toothed border, but the reverse has a beaded border.
Rumour has it that this variety came about when a couple
of sets of dies where mixed. That would probably explain
why a beaded obverse/ toothed reverse variety also exists
(not pictured).
